NAPA SMITH CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic expression of the 2013 vintage from Napa Valley. The growing season began early with a warm and dry spring, and the weather stayed absolutely beautiful all the way through an early harvest. These conditions allow us to pick at optimal flavor with the acidity and sugars right inline, creating a forward wine while maintaining the true varietal characteristics.
These grapes were sourced from three vineyards located in the heart of the valley; Red Hen, Skellenger and Oak Knoll. These vineyards produce vibrant colors and flavors combined with the structure associated with the high mineral content of the soils found in this area. This style of Cabernet allows the wine to be very dynamic paired with food or simply delicious by itself.

Inviting, complex aromas and flavors of dried and spiced berries, chocolate figs, caramelized bacon, and sundried tomatoes and leather with a supple, bright, dryish medium body and a smooth, interesting, medium-long vanilla yogurt nuts, delicate brown spices, and chocolate mint finish with silky tannins and light oak. A lively and inviting cabernet that will be very versatile.”

SONOMA SMITH CHARDONNAY
Our 2014 Chardonnay from Russian River Valley in Sonoma is the embodiment of an American wine with a Burgundian soul. To accurately represent our mission at Napa Smith Winery we chose to source our grapes for our Sonoma Smith Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma. With a very cool growing season influenced by the ebb and flow of the Pacific Ocean fog, these grapes develop slowly, compose a lush fruit bouquet while maintaining a bright acidity and integrated minerality.
We like to refer to this style of wine as the crossroads where the New World and Old World meet. There are only a few growing reqions in the US that perfectly match the grapes physiological needs with the appropriate climate and soil type; Russian River and Chardonnay are one of them.
